Passionist Jyotir Bhavan, St. Paul of the Cross Retreat is the St. Thomas Vice-Provincialate and Retreat House. The Vicariate of St. Thomas was raised to the status of Vice-Province on 1st of May 2013.
Jyotir Bhavan is located in an ideal setting far away from the hustle and bustle of the city in peaceful lush green surroundings which provides a solitary environment for Retreates, Conferences, Recollection days, Seminars, Courses, etc. It has 32 self-contained rooms with hot water facility which can accommodate close to 90 people excluding the community members, well ventilated Conference Hall and Hall for Yoga, Chapel lending itself to Personal and Community Worship, Open terraces with a panoramic view ideal for Sunrise and Sunset meditations, Ample Space for walks and quiet moments, Dining Facilities and Sports Facilities. This house is marked by a long-standing tradition or Prayer, Solitude, Hospitality, and Warmth. It has benefited thousands of people, priests, religious, seminarians, candidates for sisterhood, laity etc. though retreats, seminars and workshops.
